I remember this game, hated Gary Carter, but to me when he came to the Mets it was the beginning of the NY Mets becoming legit and my Yankees becoming the 2nd fiddle in NY, that's how I remember it as it went down. Also checkout Shea Stadium looking like the dump we all remembered it to be.
