Yanks lose but remain in 1st place

The New York Yankees woke up Monday morning in 1st place just a half a game ahead of their rivals, the Boston Red Sox's, finishing the week playing 4-2 baseball.
Although they lost yesterday's Sunday afternoon game to the Cleveland Indians 5-4 on a walkoff by Johnny Peralta, the Yankees have maintain themselves in good spirits as they nearly came back to win the game after being down 4-0 at one point.

Mark Texiera also continues to stay hot driving in all 4 runs in the lost 1st with a 2 run blast in the 6th that made the game 4-2, then tying the game with a double off the wall that scored Damon and Jeter in the 8th. Starter Phil Hughes gave up 4 runs in 5 innings leaving the game with a no decision, as Phil Coke took the lost in the 9th. Chien Ming Wang pitched 3 more scoreless innings lowering his ERA to 16.07. On Monday the Yankees will continue their series with the Indians as the 4th and final game of the series will feature starters Jemery Sowers for the Indians as he will face Joba Chamberlain tonight.
The Yankees will then come back home to open up series with the Texas Rangers, and then it's the Tampa Bay Ray's for a 4 game set.
