Yanks keep on doing what they have to do

The New York Yankees just keep on winning, every time I turn on the TV to see what they are up too they seem to be always on top, even when I find that they are losing and come back to check back on them, you will find them winning soon after. This is the theme of late, the Yankee machine is running in full force knocking out the compitition with ease. Right now there is just to much fire power in that Yankee lineup and when you see teams like the Mariners & Blue Jays who have good lineups, but bad pitching, this is the outcome.

Right now the Yankees are doing what they have to do as far as taking care of business and beating up on teams that just don't match up well with them in the pitching department. Of late they have taken care of the lifeless Mets followed by a Mariners team who sent out guys like Jarrod Washburn, Jason Vargas and Brandon Morrow, 3 guys that should not even be starting games in the major league level. After that the Blue Jays came into town and featured former reliever turned starter Brain Tallet & a youngster by the name of Brett Cecil who was sandwiched in between Roy Halladay, the only real pitcher the Yankees had to deal with in some time, a game the Yankees won in 12 innings.
The pitching that the Yankees have been facing lately, has been a bunch of young guys who after 2 times threw the Yankee lineup are not able to stay in the game, the rest of these starters are just not that good, and it is usually followed up by some no names relievers who come in and makes the situation even worst. Bad starting pitching followed by bad bullpens is not a good mix if you're team who is to face the New York Yankee lineup, a lineup that 1 to 9 anyone can hurt you and take you deep. All you had to do is just look at yesterday's game, where the Yankees who were up 4-0 early fell behind 8-4 when Joba Chamberlian lost it in the 4th, then the very next inning the Yankees went on to score 3 runs to make it 8-7, I then notice the reaction of the crowd at the stadium, quite and subdued, as if everyone at the stadium already knew that by the end of the game the Yankees were going to find a way. After starter Brett Cecil left the game, the Jay's countered with former ace reliever BJ Ryan, who now finds himself coming into games in the the 4th inning instead of the 9th were he once shined as a closer but not any more, by the end of the week Ryan would be release, after that the Blue Jays followed Ryan with some guy name Dirk Hayhurst, then it was Jesse Carlson, and Brandon League as I found myself saying who are these guys?

Lately the Yankees have been winning because they are taking atvantage of this kind of pitching, yes they have been fiesting on poor pitching but you still have to give them credit, let's face it, the Yankees are simply taking care of business regardless of what's in front on them, this is what there are being fed and they are crushing the compitition, but if you're a Yankee fan, try not to get too ahead of yourself and remember that your team is still 0-8 against a real team in your own division.

Didn't the Yankees put up 9 runs in 3 innings on Johan Santana?

Yes they beat up on Santana and the Mets, but like I said B4 don't get too excited beating up on teams like the Mets who right now are playing like the worst team in baseball, and you know it.

Even if Santana were to pitch well
in that game vs the Yankees he could had very easily lost that game 1-0 because of this punchless Met lineup. Right now a team like the Mariners would give the Yanks a better fight then the Mets.
