Well it's that time again, time to make those MLB predictions, so place your picks & lets see where we all are in the end.
AMERICAN LEAGUE
Lets start with the AL East, the competition is as usual, the Sox's or the Yankees. One can go either way here, but if you want to be ballsy you can also go with the RAYS, or course they will fall short to these 2 monsters so I'm going with the SOX's in this one.
AL EAST
Ray - Yankees
Freddie - Sox's
In the AL CENTRAL I'm going with the Tigers, at 1st I too was leaning to the Twins who are always a good choice but I just think without Nathan they will have some issues finishing games, that is why I'm taking the Tigers, I look for Veerlander to lead the way & guys like Porcello, Washburn, Willis & Bonderman to follow his lead.
AL CENTRAL
Ray -Twins
Freddie -Tigers
Ok so now to the 4 team division that is the AL West where it should come down to 3 teams, leave the A's out of this one I say this will be won by the Angels once again, Yea they are not the same without Lackey, Figgins & VLAD but this team play the way they play because of the manager Mike Scoiscia, I see them getting in with a few players stepping it up.
AL WEST
Ray -Mariners
Freddie -Angels
NATIONAL LEAGUE
Lets move on to the eldest league in baseball, the NL, or if your a rad Yankee fan, the AAAA circuit, in the EAST we have the very potent Phillies with Roy Holliday and that killer lineup that never stops, clearly the cream of the crop here. Ray picked them, I picked them, & I'm sure SI will pick them too, if your a Mets fan one can only hope that they too, will get that good ole SI curse.
NL East
Ray -Phillies
Freddie -Phillies
The NL CENTRAL looks to be a race between the front runners Cardinals, & the Cubs & Brewers, I'm going with Ray on this one cause you can't go wrong with Larussa, Pujols & their 1, 2 in the rotation.
NL Central
Ray -Cardinals
Freddie -Cardinals
In the NL WEST, any team accept the Padres could take this division, so after a hard decision I'm going with the Diamondbacks to come out on top by edging out the Giants in the final week of the season.
NL West
Ray -Rockies
Freddie -Diamondbacks
WILDCARD
Ok so let's move on to the WILDCARD & start with the easy decision here, picking the winner in the AL, I picked the Red Sox to win the division so of course I'm going with the Yankees to take the WC, I say the defending champs will have a harder time repeating things this season, everything was too perfect last year.
In the NL, the wildcard will be the Giants for the Nunez Corporation, while the Vargas headquarters is sticking with their Amazings. The team that was picked to win the NL last year is getting no love this time around, and that's ok cause they deserve it. The god awful Mets from last year arrive this season with no real expectations from the experts, & like I said before, I like it that way.
The Mets will be playing with a chip on their shoulders & a whole lotta pressure. Everyone see's them as the laughingstock of baseball so it is time for the Mets to show up like the world class organization they claim to be. Well so there you have it, Danny make your picks and I will ad them.

I don't think I can make predictions here. You just predicted that the Mets will win the wildcard. If that were to happen, the NL (AAAA) would have to be just about the worse league in all of sports.
Maybe if I would have picked the Nationals or the Marlins to take the WC you would accept my approval.
You make your picks & I make mines, well see in the end who stands more correct.
No I would really call you crazy if you picked the Nationals. The Marlins are far fetched but not impossible.
It has nothing to do with the Mets personally but that's how you took it.
I'm just saying that there is no way the Mets are the fourth best team in the NL.
You may be right Danny but you know I'm going to take the Mets regardless, hey it makes it more exciting.
