FV: Here is a interesting post, from the makers of (It's all about the money stupid)

Cleveland sucks! (according to Nielsen)
April 28, 2010 by Jason@IIATMS

Well, not really, but according to some fancy algorithm spit out by Nielsen, the Indians are the most hated MLB team. The Yanks, “only” the fifth most hated team. And the RedSox? How’s #2 grab ya?

The Hatred Index
Using an algorithm designed by Nielsen Co. that measures positive and negative reactions on the Internet, here are the 10 most despised teams in baseball (scale is -5 to 5).

Team Score
1. Cleveland Indians 0.9
2. Boston Red Sox 1.1
3. Cincinnati Reds 1.5
4 Houston Astros 1.8
5. New York Yankees 1.8
6. Washington Nationals 1.9
7. Chicago White Sox 2
8. Baltimore Orioles 2
9. New York Mets 2.3
10. Los Angeles Dodgers 2.4

Kudos to Ben Kabak of RAB for a clutch quote:

The Mets finished four spots higher, making them the ninth most-hated team. “Even Yankee fans don’t hate the Mets these days,” says Benjamin Kabak, a writer for the River Avenue Blues Yankees blog. “We just feel bad for them.”

That’s so true, even if the Mets are white-hot right now.
.
FV: Yankees @#5? Nigga please! even OBAMA called it the way it suppose to be, and why the fuck do the sad ass Indians get that #1 title, I mean why hate a team that is no good...makes perfect sense... So why aren't the Yankees #1? could it be because they make the most money Nielson?

And now switching the story on some real stuff, some sad news in Hip Hop: Just found out that Guru from GANGSTARR recently passed away. One of the greatest MC's, if there was a Rapper's Hall of Fame you have to put the Guru in there. Top 10 of all time.

Fred...what the fuck are you talking about? What did Obama say
that "called it the way its suppose to be"? Just when yous start to make sense you go back to your old ways.

Oh yeah, RIP Guru. Definetly one of the best of all time.

Yea I make no sense just like this Nielson article.

What I guess you didn't here the story about the Yankees who went out to see the president earlier this week & a comment was made by a Yankees staffer who tried to make a joke to OBAMA, all I have to say is that the president answer to the lame joke was, that is why people dislike the Yankees.

Hayes Daze said...

Fred, you got the quote all wrong. It's not that Ray doesn't hear or didn't know what you were talking about, it's that he wanted you to provide a quote which of course you didn't. Let me help you out since I know you love to exaggerate (think 'Aybar gets a hit off Jeter'):

"That attitude, that success, has always made the Yankees easy to love - - and let's face it, easy to hate as well. For a White Sox fan like me, it's painful to watch Mariano's cutter when it's against my team, or to see the Yankees wrap up the pennant while the Sox are struggling on the South Side."

The rest of the story:

With cameras clicking wildly, Obama was presented with an autographed Yankees jersey emblazoned with No. 27, and he was then invited to pose for photographs with the World Series trophy.

From the front row of the assembly, assistant GM Jean Afterman urged Girardi to "let him hold it; he might not get a chance again."

Undaunted by the chorus of laughter that followed the remark, Obama smiled and quickly replied, "And you wonder why other teams don't root for you," drawing an even louder response.

Girardi said that the Yankees appreciate how Obama wears his heart on his (White Sox) sleeves, and the President briefly discussed the upcoming series in the Bronx this weekend between New York and Chicago.

Asked about Obama's anti-Yankee slant, Jeter offered, "He'd better be careful with that. There's a lot of Yankees fans that vote."

You are so full of shit Freddy. Anyone of a sensible mind can see it was made in jest. Go ahead, I'll wait while you look it up.

RN said...

Are you serious? You REALLY think that was said in a serious manner and not joking around? Wow. I dont know what to say.

RN said...

Getting back to the original point. Thats the dumbest thing I've ever read, I mean how can you quantify real emotions like that? Who in this sampling? Just goes to show that you can say just about anything, regardless of how absurd and it will get play.

Fred, where exactly are you going with this?
"So why aren't the Yankees #1? could it be because they make the most money Nielson?"

freddie vargas said...

BLA BLA BLA

Just like that Nielson article which was a joke so was that quick jab by Obama to that lame joke by Jean afterman, so don't get it twisted. Why don't we stay on the topic here which is the Indians supposedly the most hated team instead of getting all sensitive.

It's funny how all I have to do is say something remotely negative about the Yankees and you all come out to play.

freddie vargas said...

Fred, where exactly are you going with this?
"So why aren't the Yankees #1? could it be because they make the most money Nielson?"

Dude just like Nielson is coming out of their ass so am I.

RN said...

Fred, some constructive criticism here. You really need to frame your thoughts better. You start off with railing against this Nielsen thing, then its a joke then you bring up Obama and Yankee money. You're all over the road. I'm not hating on you but I'm just re-reading all of this and scratching my head.

Its not about being negative towards the Yankees, if its warranted then by all means but most of the time you're arguments are so out there that we have no choice to retort.

freddie vargas said...

Dude WTF are you talking about?

1st of all, I start off by saying here is an interesting post, then I post the article, then in the end I finished it off by having my say, which was pretty much how are the Indians #1 here and then throwing in a jab by using OBAMA's reference to make my point on the topic which to me, (& that’s just my opinion) that the Yankees are the most hated team, my opinion.

You silly bitches then get all lost on the real issue & story which was the Nielson by continuing to throw crap at me as if I wrote it. Frame my thoughts, yea right.

RN said...

Just trying to help man. No need to get your panties in a bunch.
Danny am I out of line here?

freddie vargas said...

LOL, how is this suppose to be helping me?

I didn't write the article, I'm just chiming in on it.

Hayes Daze said...

Umm... I saw this on MSN about two hours before u posted it here and never even thought about talking to anyone about it.

Hayes Daze said...

So u chime that the article is full of it and that it is a joke BECAUSE YOU think the Yankees are the most hated???

Oh I totally get ur logic know.

Can someone please provide me with the weapon of their choice. At this point I don't mind being stabbed in the belly and left to die. It would be more fun.

No Ray you are not out of line. Although it's not Freddy's fault he's tripolar.

If you say something disparaging about the Yanks and it's warranted, when have u seen us give u a hard time?

freddie vargas said...

Look I posted something that I did not originally write but I post it anyways because it caught my attention and I wanted to here what you guys had to say, you know for fun, to chew the fat. I posted it on my blog calling it for what it is, a BS writes up. I guess I am out of line for posting it on my blog & having an opinion on it.

I guess I am out of line when my 2 Yankee buddies come back at me after reading the BS article along with whatever I added to the piece (which was like 3 lines) as if I wrote the entire crap. You guys had nothing to say about the Nielson BS write up (Ray made 1 comment) so instead of getting some additional input on the subject what I get is the usual names calling along with some kind of disease I know nothing about, yet I am the one who is out of line here.

Like I said b4 anytime I write stuff about the Yankees and it is in a negative manner towards them you guys take it as how dare you! And this was not even really about the Yankees although I did throw in that jab using the Yankees because in my opinion if the Yankees were at #1, this is not even a discussion, well maybe not from me but from Yankee fans hmmm…. Instead the Nielson goes with the Indians of all teams & puts the Yankees at #5, BS!

I guess my writing is just not understandable & needs a lot of work with the clarity for it to make sense because it is always me who is out of line. But that’s ok, it is not like I expect to win any discussions with you guys & that’s ok too, because anyone with a sensible mind can see that it is 2 against 1 here, 2 Yankees fans vs. a Met fan.

Hayes Daze said...

"You guys had nothing to say about the Nielson BS write up (Ray made 1 comment) so instead of getting some additional input on the subject"

I guess you must have missed the part where I said I saw this article before you posted it and didn't think of it as worthy enough for conversation.

I'm not surprised you only pay attention to the parts you want to. That's called tripolar disease. It's a disease I invented for you and the millions of people out there who suffer.

Please ask your doctor if you are on erection medication as tripolar medicine can have effects such as:

itching
vertigo
dizziness
tingling in extremities
loss of balance or coordination
slurred speech
temporary blindness
profuse sweating
or heart palpitations.

Eerily similar to Happy Fun Ball side effects.

So it's a joke that Nielsen says what they said but ot's the truth when you say it. "Instead the Nielson goes with the Indians of all teams & puts the Yankees at #5, BS!"
I forgot how powerful your written word is.

More like 2 common sense fans and 1 Met fanatic

freddie vargas said...

LOL Keep going with your names calling, it makes you so much better especially when all you have is that when breaking things down.

freddie vargas said...

Oh and I didn't missed the part where you said that after reading the BS article that you didn't see anything worthy enough for conversation, that's your cop out, but I would had liked to see if it would had been the same for you if the Nielson would had gone with a more accurate picked & choosed the Yankees, I bet you would had something worthy to say then. LOL

RN said...

So just that we're straight. I think this Nielsen thing is just plain stupid regardless of the results. Now, Fred you think its bullshit and a joke because the Yankees were #5 or whatever they were but if they were #1 then in your opinion it would be fact?

freddie vargas said...

Just my opinion that it would be more accurate, so yes. Let me ask you this, who would you had gone as the #1 title? I say the Yankees.... and you?

Hayes Daze said...

You don't get it Fred, it's not the point where the Yankees, Mets or Indians are. It's that because it wasn't what you wanted to hear then it was BS

BUT

if the Yankees were #1 on the list then it would have been VERY accurate.

DO YOU NOT SEE HOW STUPID THAT MAKES YOU LOOK?

That was a dumb question by me.

How could you see it with your head way up your ass. You can call my irrational responses to you name calling but your hypocisy makes Republicans especially jealous.

I mean this is a craft they have been working on for a long time.

Hayes Daze said...

To answer your question, who should be the most hated team.

The answer to me is simple. Since the Yankees command a universe and they have the most fans around the world.

The world not the country.

Then you have the Sux who are the Yankees rivals, and they only command a "nation"

Then the answer by sheer numbers has to be Boston.

RN said...

Fred, that can never be accurate. I mean if you go out and poll every baseball fan in the world then yes but its just opinion. Like I said in one of my prior posts, what kind of sample size were they using? You like to think that the Yankees are the most hated team in baseball and they very well might be but just you because you think so doesn't make it so. That would be like me saying the Yankees are the most beloved team in baseball, its probably true but I can't say that its fact. Thats our point.

freddie vargas said...

Danny I guess in your mind that makes me a republican, but I care about that political talk you use to break shit down here, FOX news & what not, I'm talking baseball.

Like I said b4 there will never be any agreement when it is me vs. you 2. This has become as stupid as the article that started it.

freddie vargas said...

Danny what have you ever admitted too here? that you always right?
& I don't care if Ray is a nice guy and won't call me out because of that, I know Ray just like you know Ray so stop putting him on the spot, speak for yourself & stop using him for your safety.

I don't know what you have against me that makes you the way you are, was it a wiffle ball game that you lost against me when we were kids lol?

I made myself clear on what I believe & if you don't agree with it you need to stop right there. If I admit to anything I will when it makes sense to me just like I did about all the ads at Citifield.

If I say something because that's how I believe but you go on & label it as because it suits me, then there is no win for me here, it like you want me to think like you.

So the article is not BS to you well it is to me, that's your opinion & then you have mines. you need to know when to stop.

Hayes Daze said...

You're right. I do need to know when to stop. When to stop thinking you will make any sense. Ray, he's all yours. This is the last time I'm coming on here. Peace.

freddie vargas said...

Just read, peace out.
