Daniel Murphy you have been Wally Pipp

With the recent impressive play of Ike Davis, I am sorry to say that Daniel Murphy days as a NY Met are now numbered. I like Murphy, the guy is a scrappy kind of a player that can hit a little, but the truth is that he is no Ike Davis. Yea I know I have been on Ike Davis jockstrap these days but how can you not be? Sure it is way too early to start calling Ike Davis the 2nd coming of Lou Gerhig & don't get it twisted cause I'm not! I'm just saying that when Daniel Murphy gets back from his knee injury no way does he come back and take his old position back or does he start sharing it with IKE. Poor guy needs for his agent to look around the league & find him another team cause in one week Ike Davis has taken your job away & help put the Mets in 1st place. And even if it's just for borrow time let's be happy that were in 1st.
