The Yankees opener took a few bumps on the road as the prize acquisitions of CC Sabathia and Mark Texiera Yankee debut went all wrong. Sabathia could not find the plate and Texiera left runners on base all day long as the Yankees took the lost 10-5. It was a disastrous beginning for the Yankees fans who's high hopes rest on the 2 biggest newcomers, but again it is only game 1. The Yankees will look to bounce back on Wednesday when Chin Ming Wang will take on Japanese import Koji Uehara who will be making his major league debut.
