The King is coming

And now for some none baseball related news, I thought I change it up a bit and talk about my 2nd love of sports, basketball & the NY Knicks. It's been a while since I last got excited about the other team in NY who wears the orange & blue, it's been over 10 years since the Knicks have been worth my full attention since the days of the big gorilla Patrick Ewing. For reals it's been a minute, we have gone through the Allan Houston era which was not all that bad but not that good, then it was the Marbury & Isiah era which was probably the worst of times for any Knick fans, and now we are into the growing era of Mike D'iantoni with David Lee, Danilo Gallinari & Wilson Chandler, still not even a playoff team, still ways to go. Soon things are going to change around here, NY will have it's new savior, new superstar, he will simply be the King of NY.

I have been telling people about this for over a year now how I see all this going down for the Knicks & Lebron. My 2 nephews who are big NBA fans have heard my stories about Lerbon coming to the Knicks & because I am their uncle they believe me. I told them that this could only happen if the Cavs do not win the NBA Title, that if they did win the title, Lebron will then stay with the Cavs. Last night the Cavs lost a crucial game against the Boston Celtics so people the shit is close to going down!

I haven't been watching much of these NBA playoff games but I will be watching the next time the Cavs & Celtics play again cause if the Celtics win it means the Cavs have been eliminated. The word on the street now is that someone close to King James has started to talk & is practically saying that James will soon be a Knick and it all makes sense to me. Since last year I have seen the signs, if you live in NY like I do then you would notice all the Lebron James ads that are seen plastered all over the city, you heard all about Jay-Z & C.C. telling Mr. James that this is the place to be, and why not? You know the NBA needs the Knicks to be good again, and you know Mr. David Stern is a smart man, just like in 1985 when he made sure the Knicks got what they needed in the lottery draft. In a similar fashion it's about to happen all over again & this time it is going to be the real deal cause it will be Lebron James instead of Patrick Ewing, no disrespect Pat you still my man!

So if you care about the NY Knicks like I do, make sure to catch the Cavs play the Celtics in their next game cause this game could be the beginning of something big! cause if the Cavs go down the NY Knicks will be back on the map!
