Tomorrow night, one of the best pitching prospects in the game will be making his major league debut as Noah Syndergaard takes the ball for the NY Mets vs. the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley. The hard throwing righty the Mets got 3 years ago in the R.A Dickey trade along with Travis d'Arnaud, will finally get his chance filling in for the injured Dillon Gee. Met fans have been waiting for this day, the mountain of a man they call ''Thor'' is ready for the big show, ready to show us what all the talk is about, at 6'6, 240 he is a physical god, the velocity is no question, consistently 97, the problem has been his secondary pitches, what's between the ears, his maturity. When looking for that future ace he's got the stuff, and so far it looks like the big guy has got it all together with impressive numbers in the hitters friendly surroundings of Las Vegas, now the Mets think he's ready for the big leagues.
Noah Syndergaard is supposed to be the next pitching stud to come up for the Mets, and on Tuesday I will be glued to the tube scouting the next big thing in hopes he is the real deal. If Noah Syndergaard is as good as advertise the NY Mets will soon be sporting the best young rotation in the game. Noah Syndergaard is not the last of the young pitching studs ready to move into the Mets rotation, he is just the next in line.
