Rico Carty trusted no one.

Ron Darling was on the Mike Francessa show and they we're talking baseball. During their conversation the topic somehow touched on Rico Carty who was a flamboyant Dominican ballplayer from back in the day who played MLB from 1963-79.

Anyways during the conversation with Francessa Darling said of Carty, that he was the type of player who would go out on the playing field with his wallet on him because he thought he would get robbed if he left it in his locker.

That had me thinking and so I did a little research and low and behold look what I found.

Looks like Rico's packing a hefty wallet.

Nice find. Crazy how things have changed from back then.
